Agnes speaks of her pleasure at being remembered by Emma and by the "Master". She mentions his visit to her in October of 1892 and how she made her love for him and his beliefs the "ruling power" of her life after she "looked upon him for the first time". She also speaks of her friends treating her beliefs as freakish.
