Alice remained for a good while and then returned to Michigan, her former home. After Blanche Ruth died, Alice and Oliver were married and their son Dean is living in Washington state. Alice became interested in Unity (the other one) and was one of its "readers" when I saw her in Washington. Gus and Nina both lived in Washington - Nina has been widowed three times.
