THE DOUBLE—EDGED SWORD
Issued by a group of Progressive Koreshans.
E. BENSON STEELE, Editor.
This little magazine marks the beginning of an ef—
fort which is intended to be educational, primarily in
regard to one vital issue in particular, in which it
seems to us all genuine lovers of Koreshan doctrine
would be interested—the evidence of the confirmation
of the mission of the Sign.
This little magazine also comes into being as the
vehicle through which the "minority" disciples of
Koresh will declare to the world their view of the fun—
damental principles of Koreshanity as taught in the
writings of Koresh, and as demonstrated in the events
which have passed under our observation during the
thirty—odd years of our Koreshan culture and experi—
ence. We will present our views in open challenge
and contrast to that which goes as orthodox Koreshan—
ity, as exposited and presented to th« world during the
last twenty years by the "majority" in control of the
avenues of propaganda at Estero.
For the present we will get out issues consecu—
tively as occasion demands, with one leading article in
each issue; also a question and answer department,
and an open forum for suggestions and criticisms.
Subscription is free to all who wish to keep in
touch with our effort. If you are with us, kindly con—
firm your support.
Address all communications to the Editor,
The Double—edged Sword. Box, 636, FortMyers,, Fla.
The foundation of our system is religion; it is a
re—tying to God, for without a true and definite re—
ligion there can be no permanent bond of fellowship
and Social obligation.
Koreshanity is a kingdom of uses, performed in
the spirit of love to the neighbor, which constitutes
the foundation of a true religious and social life.
