Hume, Hugo
Summary:
Hume attempts to show how the "new" religions of the time —— Mormonism, Koreshanity, Christian Science and others were attracting more and more people and therefore were becoming "superior" to the old established Christian religions. Chapter 6 deals with the Koreshans and the doctrine of the Cellular Cosmogony.

An interesting note — At the end of the preface, it says: "The manuscript of this history of the Superior American Religions was submitted to the inspection of my friends,... and it was their unanimous verdict that it was no worse that a lot of other stuff they had to read during their lifetime."
