Scope & Content:
Jesse Teed writes poetically... "How I wonder how you are. Out of reach, so verry (sic) far. I hope to see you by an by. So do not worry, fret or cry. I am well from day to day. Have plenty of work and little play. I long to see this job right(?) through. For I am missed and get quite blue." Teed, who was a manufacturer of water wheels goes on to talk about "The darned wheel is made to run the wrong way". Because of this he says that he doesn't know how long he will be on the job. The letter closes with his instruction "...I would like to have you get ready to start for Walton by the first of the week."
