Title:
My Dear George — Letter to George Hunt — Boston to Estero
Scope & Content:
Letterhead reads 'New Hotel Bellevue', which is in Boston Mass. Teed begins: "I want to caution you to be on the watch of yourself regarding the utmost consideration for all the wants of our people. Hear them particularly and give ample explanations why all wants are not met. Give the people all to understand that we will meet all their wants always when we can. Do not be impatient nor seemingly unkind nor neglectful. I find that Hilliard has placed his account for [...?] in the hands of Mickle. See Mickle and say to him that I do not owe Hilliard one cent." Teed goes on to talk about a possible suit over this matter. He also tells Hunt to inform Ft. Myers businesses to forward bills in care of Hunt and not to Dr. C.R. Teed, since that delays payment.
