Title:
My Dear George — Letter to George Hunt — Chicago to Estero
Scope & Content:
Teed begins the letter saying; "My Dear George: It seems to take everlastingly to get anything from Estero. I sent a paper to be signed by two or three of you. Hasten it up." Teed goes on to say that he was delayed in his return from Chicago to Estero and that in the meantime he will send money for "...your store." but that "...it must be rigidly maintained." He goes into particulars with regard to capital expenses and that the "...Koreshan Unity [has] a capital of $200,000, one hundred thousand paid up capital." Teed speaks of the incorporation of the K.U. and mentions that it is incorporated in New Jersey and that George "...may tell James and Ross about this, also Emma. Otherwise it best be kept quiet." Teed closes the letter by saying he will come down as soon as he can get away and that "...a number are coming down next week."
