"Conrad joined the Unity at Estero in 1907. Coming from Seattle, Washington.
He had one sister. Conrad was a farmer and cattle man for the Koreshan Unity.
He played the violin, Stradivarius. When his sister, Mrs. Frank Dascheck, Los
Angeles, visited the Unity, Conrad and she entertained at the Art Hall, both
playing the violin.
In 1920 the Koreshans had a large herd of cattle. Conrad planted new kinds of
grasses for the cattle. In later years, 1960, when only five Koreshan members
were left, Conrad grew a vegetable garden and cooked for the members. He was a life—long student of Koreshan religion and science. He died at his home in Koreshan gardens, October 12, 1965, and was buried in the Koreshan Unity
cemetery."
