MEMORIES, MEMORIES--DAYS OF LONG AGO chronicled by Marie McCready with participation by Lovelle McCready: Christine Hamilton was the assistant matron at Beth Ophrah and spoke with a Danish accent. One of her beliefs was that "Children and dogs are all right in their place, but their place is not in the house". Her daughters were Linda and Minerva--page 43.

FLAMING SWORD - Vol-36, No-8 - August 1922 -- Community Current Events:
We regret to record in this issue the passing out of Sister Christine Hamilton. The American Eagle in its issue of July 27 said: "Mrs. Christine Hamilton, who has been ill for some weeks past, died here on Monday morning, about one o'clock, aged 72 years. Deceased was a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, and for many years resided in British Columbia, later removing to Pasadena, Cal., where she became interested in the Koreshan Unity, then in San Francisco, later removing to Chicago, and finally to Estero, having been a member of the colony for thirty years preceding her death. She was a woman of high education and culture, highly esteemed by all who knew her, by whom she will be sadly missed. She. is survived by two daughters," one living in California and the other in Canada.
