Collection:
Stephens Collection
Item ID:
4—066 to 4—083
Notes:
This series of 19 photographs were taken in the Fall of 1907 and Summer of 1908. They are not necessarily all related, however, up through 4—077, there is a link, then there is some doubt as to their connection, then the connection picks up again at 4—080. Since they all were removed from the same photo scrapbook, there is some semblance of order. The connection may never be established, however.
The early photos center on a house. The captions which appear were apparenlty written by Dudley Andrews since he menitions "Me" and ... etc. One of the winter scenes (4—082) mentions "Wissahickon Creek" which is a park area in Philadelphia.
Dudley eventually ended up in Philadelphia, as did Annie Ray Andrews.
