THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by L. W. Bubbett; January 1935:
"On the seventh Dr. Frank Wilson left for Savannah, Mo., for treatment at the
Dr. Nichols Sanatorium for cancer of the ear. At this writing reports are
favorable and Brother Frank expects to be home shortly. Good news, for
Brother Frank is almost indispensable to the community--in his optical and
dental work, doctoring and nursing of the sick and the efficient and
successful operation of the bee yard, which has resulted in an abundance of
honey for the Unity year after year."

FLAMING SWORD, Vol 51, No.5, May 1937, p.13 -- "On April 13 (note date) our
greatly beloved brother Dr. Frank D. Wilson died suddenly from a heart attack
while ascending the stairs to his dental office, having suffered for many
months past from a heart ailment. He had been a valued member of the Koreshan
Unity for the past twenty-two years, coming to Estero from Hood River, Oregon,
in 1915. For many years he practiced here, and also operated the large apiary
at the Unity, which was practically wiped out by the flood of last June. Dr.
Wilson was born in Illinois, March 18, 1875. He attended the University of
Illinois, and later graduated at Ann Arbor University, Michigan. His
twenty-two years of humane services were so joyfully and unselfishly given to
the membership of the Community that he lives most lovingly in the memories of
all who knew him. A gathering was held in his honor soon after his passing at
the home of Sister Jennie Campbell and her daughter, Edith Trebell, and words
of eulogy and of recognition of Brother Frank Wilson's wonderful and endearing
qualities were rendered by Eleanore Castle." (Community Current Events by
Bertha M. Boomer)

Notes of Evelyn Horn: Dr. Frank Wilson
"Frank Wilson was the Koreshan Unity dentist. He is a graduate of Ann Arbor,
Michigan. Practiced dentistry there for 17 years before coming to the
Koreshan Unity at Estero. After coming to Florida, he went to Orlando for his
Florida State Dental Board exam. He passed with high honors. He had a
well-equipped dental office above the post office in the original store
building on the Estero River. He was a very prominent doctor of dentistry,
serving not only Estero, but all the surrounding communities.

While not doing dental work after office hours, he acts as engineer on the
boat "The Estero," as well as all other out-door work. He was also the
bee-keeper for the Unity. Frank was a very active person--loved by all who
knew him. He was a very quiet, sincere person. He was of medium-build, about
5 foot 6 inches and weighed 150 pounds, sandy brown hair with blue-grey eyes
and ruddy complexion. A very neat person in his dress. He wore light colored
trousers, white shirts and always the white doctor coat while working. Frank
died of a
heart attack while coming down the stairs from his doctor's office--April 13,
1937, and was buried in the Koreshan cemetery."

Legal documents/Estate of Frank D. Wilson, deceased: Died: 13 day April
1937; intestate; leaving no heirs and legal representatives. Value of estate
