THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by Alafae Stephens; December 1933: "Mrs. Flora Ackers and daughter, Mrs. O. W. Iden, of Maysville, Missouri, are visiting with Mrs. Lillian Rugg. Mrs. Ackers is well known here, having been a member of the Unity about twenty-five years ago."

Probably there before the second contingent arrived from Chicago as we knew only Gertrude, then working at the Hill House, a home style hotel in Fort Myers. Later, when she became ill Mrs. Hill sent her to the Unity for awhile."
