"Folks we knew while in the K. U." by Marie McCready: Mr. Allison. "Louise, a daughter of Mrs. Allison by her first marriage to a Bryant, and Gertrude, adopted by the Allisons.--Vesta Newcomb. Probably there before the second contingent arrived from Chicago as we knew only Gertrude, then working at the Hill House, a home style hotel in Fort Myers. Later, when she became ill Mrs. Hill sent her to the Unity for awhile."
