     THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by D. J. Richards; January 1931: "Mrs. Pearl Cox and her sister, Mrs. Opal Hodge, arrived in Estero by automobile from Charleston, Illinois, and will remain as guests of the Unity during the winter. Both ladies are daughters of Brother John S. Sargent. They were accompanied by Mr. Bryan Lee, a grandson of Brother John, and little Ralph, Mr. Lee's son. The reunion was a very happy one to all concerned. After a few days' visit Mr. Lee and his son returned to Illinois."

     THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by D. J. Richards; January 1931: "Brother John Grier has returned to the Unity after an absence of several months. His son, Harry Grier, of Los Angles, Calif., accompanied by his wife, paid the Unity a visit recently, with Mrs. Carlton Case of Fort Myers, a daughter of Brother John. Mrs. Case spent her girlhood in the Unity, both in Chicago and Estero."

     THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events; April 1931: "Mr and Mrs. Albert C. Main of Gloversville, New York, and Miss M. E. Burke of Albany, New York, made a short visit with Brother George Main recently. Mr. Albert Main is Brother George's son. The party spent an enjoyable time while here, and gathered a number of the beautiful shells which are so plentiful on the Gulf beaches."

     THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by Alafae Stephens; April 1934: "Mrs. Ruth Boomer Thomas and little son, Brooks, left for their home in Philadelphia on the fifteenth, after visiting for six weeks with Mrs. Thomas' mother and sister at Mirasol Grove. Mrs. Thomas enlivened activities here during her stay, and her many friends are looking forward to her return next winter."

     THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by Alafae Stephens; August 1933: "We were pleased to have visit us Mrs. Lovelle Ahrano and son Mark, who motored here from Tampa on the 26th. They returned the following day. Their visit was much too brief, but we hope to see them again soon."

THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by L. W. Bubbett; January 1935: "On the twenty-sixth Mrs. Lovelle Ahrano and her three sons, Jean, Fritz and Mark, and Miss Elizabeth Cermak of Tampa visited us for the day. As a material token of good will, Mrs. Ahrano left three fine hams, for which we are greatly appreciative. We have "ambitious" expectations that the culinary department will maintain its high standard in preparing them for table. Thank you, Mrs. Ahrano; we're sorry, though, you couldn't make your visit much longer."

     MEMORIES, MEMORIES--DAYS OF LONG AGO; chronicled by Marie (McCready) with participation by Lovelle (McCready): Family history written by the two McCready sisters. Manuscript given to the Koreshan State Historic Site by Duane McConnell (Marie's son) on May 18, 1992. His grandparents and mother grew up here and he came to visit as a child. (1920's -40's)

THE FLAMING SWORD; Community Current Events by Rose Gilbert; August 1931: Mr. and Mrs. Fred McConnell and son, Duane, came from Tampa, July 12, to visit old friends as well as Brother William and Sister Abbie McCready. Mr. McConnell returned the same day. Mrs. McConnell and her son remained a few days longer."
