     FOLKS WE KNEW WHILE IN THE K.U. by Marie McCready: Oliver Ruth; "Oliver was a physician. They came from Muscatine, Iowa, and brought their horse Nellie. In Washington Heights he had charge of the farm, so Lovelle and I planted and picked garden vegetables under his teasing instructions. Blanche was our schoolteacher in Chicago and part of the time in Estero; returned to Muscatine and Blanche died. Some time later Oliver married Nina's mother, Alice Burrows, and their son DEAN lives in Washington state."

Koreshan Unity and they returned to their old home in Muscatine, Iowa. Blanche
died soon afterward and Oliver, some time later, married Alice Burrows, Nina's
