In this section you will find an excerpt from the Library module. This includes full text from the Community Current Events column which appeared in the Flaming Sword from 1916 until the end of the publication in 1949. This monthly column gives us great insight into the daily lives of the Koreshans and others. Something as simple as telling us that one member went north to visit relatives to something as historically important as news about the electrification of the settlement. The earliest editions mostly include what went on at the Sunday service -- who played what instrument, what was read, etc. etc. Another valuable asset is that the CCE will sometimes tell us that one member, who had left, has returned, or one member "who has been living in New York for the past 11 years..." These records have been extracted from the "Library" module and can also be found there.
