| Abstract |
Typed letter. This was written six months before Teed's death. The letter reads; "George, I want our people to vote for Stockton and Broward. Towles will see that the pole [sic] tax is paid if you want him to. He wants Gilchrist out and so do I. I have given Towles to understand that we will vote hard against the 'wets'. When he gets my letter he will understand my attitude, with absolute certainty. I have told him that our people have entered the fight to win or lose on the basis of the righteousness of the cause. Ever lovingly your own, Cyrus." |
